Cons: “We were over an hour late to depart due to “Cosmetic” issues. Then we landed in Detroit to find out our landing gear might have an issue. Airport firefighter were standing by. We landed safely and crew was amazing.”

Pros: “Flight crew was nice”

Cons: “They were careless with our suitcases. When we got to Vancouver, we were missing wheels on our suitcases. 2 wheels on my husband’s and 1 on mine. It made it horrible to pull the suitcases.”

Cons: “Free or inexpensive food options would be nice. I also prefer when the screens are in the back of the seat and I don’t have to stream on my phone or pay high prices to use data.”

Cons: “What have been nice if I was told that seat availability was nonexistent. I tried checking in each day without any information such as give it up you suck and you’re going to get the worst seed no better how much you try to avoid it…”

Pros: “The flight was great and the process from boarding to take off was wonderful. This was also a rescheduled flight after my other flight was cancelled.”

Cons: “The seats cushions. They weren’t the best. That’s all.”

Pros: “The flight attendants on all three of my flights were nice and helpful as well as all the employees at each airport I visited. The food was good and I had a great time.”

Pros: “Boarding was strange – it was still in groups although we were shuttled to our airplane. I was glad it wasn’t a packed flight as I wasn’t smushed by my neighbors in the seats. Very little turbulence, smooth taking off and landing. I like that I was able to watch free movies without having to pay for WiFi.”

Cons: “The shuttle broke down on the way to the airplane and had to wait for another. The good part was that we didn’t wait very long (less than 10 minutes) for another to arrive. No free WiFi.”

Pros: “My bags were about 3 pounds heavier than allowed and she let me in with them. The crew is overall very nice and professional.”

Pros: “How they saw my needs comfort me. She even came from around the desk to hung me. I am so thankful for all who assisted in this time of need . They are great.”

Cons: “My connecting flight was late and they gave my seat away. So I’m not on the flight. Worst of all I was made to feel like it was my fault for being late”

Cons: “We have a service dog onboard, and the flight attendant was brusque when giving instructions about how he can fly, which came off as rude. All of her instructions were unnecessarily snappy, but that’s the one that struck me most. He’s a service dog. He’s allowed to be here. Seats are too hard/rigid, and I wasn’t able to get much sleep due to discomfort/screaming babies. I don’t blame the babies though.”

Pros: “Staff was friendly and accommodating. I liked that they boarded the back of the plane first. Also liked the updates from the flight attendants of what areas you were flying over at the moment. Was impressed with the landing as the pilot had a nasty crosswind to deal with that rocked the plane pretty good.”

Cons: “I’ve been on a few flights recently with headrest screens for entertainment. This plane did not have that.”

Pros: “I paid for seat. Hainan airlines charged me, but told me was not successful. I spent a lot of time and energy on it.”

Cons: “At Xian Xiangyang Airport, I was asked to provid a address. They did not know how which is street name and which is city name. I taught them. They scanned with my green card, however, their system could not recognize green card. I was forced to sign an agreement to take all responsibilities if I can not go abroad.”

Pros: “I sat in a premium seat at the window. First good sleep on a flight I’ve had”

Cons: “My seat was changed and I had to sit by a baby crying off and on the whole trip…should always let the customer know ahead of time”

Cons: “There was an unexpected gate change that made us have to run to the other side of the terminal. It would have been nice if the announcements had been just a bit clearer.”

Cons: “On my flight home to Detroit I was seated in the back. The flight attendants did nothing but gossip about other flight attendants (good and bad), their home life,etc. One rammed me with the cart & their body, woke me up, didn’t even apologize. Just felt it was rude. I pay for my flight. I was trying to rest on my 4 hour flight before I had to tend to daughter who had cancer, I need the rest. And for what I paid, I should be able to. Not listen to Alaska’s drama within.”

Cons: “crowded with no room to sit anywhere and couldn’t hear announcements outside immediate area. Immigration process too lengthy and almost missed flight with 2 2/12 layover in Seattle.”

Cons: “Was disappointed that my bag went to another location (Eugene?) Can get it til tomorrow morning and I have a conference to attend and no clothes..!”

Pros: “The plane was modern and comfortable, including the adjustable side wings on the headrests. In flight free wifi and entertainment was a wonderdul way to pass the time. Crew was so friendly. Flights on time and luggage retrieval was very speedy.”

Pros: “The plane felt new and was comfy. Crew was nice and the flight was overal pleasant”

Cons: “They gathered passengers before the gate to check for passports. Thought that was a strange way to do that. Once in the plane not even a snack or a beverage was offered and I was sitting in first class. No entertainment either.”

Pros: “Easy flight. Boarding was fine and the crew were friendly enough. The steward didn’t come and see me much and I think I had one little snack and one beverage.”

Cons: “No entertainment but I didn’t really expect it on such a short flight.”

Pros: “Boarded and left on time. Short flight so I can’t speak to the food or entertainment offerings. Crew was pleasant although probably at the end of a long work day. This is no small thing for people who must deal with the public all day in a small space. It was appreciated!”

Cons: “One of the attendants wasn’t so nice. Watching her pour drinks, one would be full ‘s one half, she would have her favorites sort of speak. Attitude. Of those who had the half full glasses asked for more, the attitude came out, she would give them more with a snip. Of course those others she would gladly with a smile. I checked my suitcase in as we had a ‘full flight’ & never got my $20 voucher. Yet there was plenty of overhead space that I saw. So that was a waste of time on both counts.”

Pros: “don’t know if it was the time of the year but there was more open seats which meant we weren’t crowded going to Seattle and coming back home to SLC. Great assistance, nice people, smooth flight.”

Cons: “It was a short 2.5 hr flight. Jet blue provided packaged snacks and a soft drink at no additional charge. Other airlines charge for everything. A carry on and a handbag were also allowed which others don’t. The seats are leather and have more room. Seems Jet Blue is the last one of those traditional airlines giving more for your money. Thank you Jet Blue ! I am sold.”

Cons: “I wish the crew would did a little more to ask the people behind me stop playing the loud music and talking loud. Also rap music with bad language with children next to it is not a good idea. I actually like rap but not listening loud with the speaker on with kids in the plane is not considerate.”

Cons: “Wasn’t their fault but it was a pretty turbulent flight. It’s winter and we flew NY to Costa Rica, this is expecteddue to the wind, in the winter, in warmer climates. you could tell the pilot was doing his best to avoid turbulence though & the staff were ultra professional.”

Cons: “Wrong terminal info in JFK air train. Wrong gate info on JFK monitors. Wrong flight info on Gate monitor (bermuda instead of burbank). Seat TV stopped working. Narrow seats. Food sold before drinks, drinks should be first. Rear deplaning never worked due to some problem. Laptop space cramped.”

Cons: “The flight was delayed for like an hour”

Cons: “So first thing before takeoff one flight attendant told someone to turn there music down because it could be heard outside of the headphones, but then proceeded to talk extremely loud throughout the entire flight to the other attendants. It was a 6am flight and mostly everyone was trying to sleep, but she was so loud that I gave up after trying to. If you tell someone else to be quiet because of sleeping passengers, I recommend you follow your own advice.”

Pros: “Legroom is better than most other airlines and crew was very nice”

Cons: “We were delayed on the runway after boarding for an hour and arrived in Burbank an hour late. My screen was broken and I was unable to access any movies or tv shows. Finally, they ran out of meals early on in the flight.”

Pros: “Staffs was very attentive and sweet. They made sure I was ok, provided snacks and drinks. Pilot said hello to me and my sister and we had a short chat, I felt very happy with the staffs friendliness and attentiveness.”

Cons: “Everything was great! There was a small delay, and that’s all.”

Cons: “Once again, on this flight, I, my wife, and our 2-year-old were split up. This time, we were all placed in different rows. Way to go JetBlue! Thankfully, on this flight we had people who were decent enough to trade seats with us (probably because it was only two seats to an aisle, and therefore, no middle seats) so we could be together. Shouldn’t have to do this though. PUT FAMILIES TOGETHER ON PLANES, ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN.”

Cons: “Our prior flight arrived 30 minutes late and we had to run to the opposite side of the airport. We were there before the departure time but the staff gave us a hard time saying they were going to lock the doors on us. It wasn’t until the flight crew ran up behind us that they finally didn’t have an attitude and said we were fine. Online entertainment didn’t work, no shows, the map doesn’t have a time or useful info. My row was skipped by the crew for snacks. The guy came from behind first, which I didn’t see and then one the way back, he didn’t even look at my row or the row in front of me.”

Cons: “The boarding policy changes are confusing. No longer boarding from the rear of the plane and no explanation of how to board sooner without buying an extra space seat. Also the seats are less comfortable.”

Cons: “Although the seat had enough of leg space, the folding table in a back of the chair in front of me was malfunctioning, crooked and unstable to a certain degree; I could not push the back seat down. But over all my experience was good”

Cons: “The line for security was poorly managed, tried talking to multiple employees and they all ignored me, and on the plane there was no wifi, and I tried to flag down a flight attendant for water but they never came to the back of the plane.”

Pros: “Flight attendant relocated me to exit aisle (see below).”

Cons: “My seat’s headphone jack didn’t work. Annoying for a long flight –they should be frequently checked and maintained.”

Cons: “First off the TSA line was changed right in the middle of waiting in it. They combined two lines into one giant line, putting the other line in front of my line. I know part of this is TSA, but JetBlue has some pull/say in how their terminal works. This doubled my TSA wait time resulting in a 1hr 15 min wait for security. Second, the flight was 20 minutes delayed. Not the best JetBlue day.”

Pros: “There was a delay on my flight from Dubai to New York… as a result I missed my flight to Rochester. Now I am being told to rebook the flight and pay full price. I am getting the short end of the stick here. This is totally rip off”

Cons: “Flight departed 2 hrs late. No jet blue personnel were at the gate for hours, and offered no assistance with connections or alternate arrangements. Never had such a poor experience.”

Pros: “The check in process with Jet Blue is always seamless and quick. Great communication. I enjoyed the free wi-fi and under-the-seat outlets. Also love how refreshments are available to grab at anytime.”

Pros: “The flight was one of the best domestic flights I have ever taken. Amazingly helpful and courteous cabin crew, excellent customer service, great add-ons like free wifi and snacks. I think I will only be taking jet blue now, especially if the price remains somewhat similar to other carriers. It is simply the best.”

Cons: “Several delays, long wait time AFTER we were COMPLETELY boarded, non-communication between staff & passengers regarding WHY we sat on plane for at LEAST an HOUR after boarding, and flight personnel not double checking to make sure that all passengers had something to drink after the snacks were given. JetBlue needs to get it together!!! I will DEFINITELY avoid them in the future!!”

Cons: “The staff at the kiosks. One lady was rude and impatient and after encountering a problem chose to send me to the counter , I went to another who was patient and we succeeded. The baggage handjers were terrible as well. They’re getting paid to lift bags, I had to lift my bag and weigh it on the carousel myself”

Cons: “The flight was delayed because of a maintenance issue. We made up some of the time, but it was an issue.”

Pros: “One flight attendant was adamant about a passenger across from me, covering his nose AND mouth during the flight and constantly checked to make sure he was following the rules.”

Cons: “The safety instructions portion of the flight was not thorough. They just held up the large card and stood there. No true demonstration which was important to me as I was sitting in the emergency exit row.”

Pros: “Super friendly staff, great service and delicious food. The competition has nothing compared to Delta. We’re switching”

Cons: “Not enough leg room. Flights are costly enough and it just seems wrong to upcharge passengers for more legroom. Legroom should be standard outside of first /business class.”

Pros: “surprisingly spacious seats. plane felt brand new. on screen entertainment was great, and relieved to have charging inputs for my device in the seat.”

Cons: “I came from a long trip from France, the seat I was assigned was not reclinable, close to the restroom. I was totally exhausted from the previous flight, not able to sleep at all and when I tried to stretch my legs by sitting sidewards on the aisle a crew member keep bothering me to keep my legs out”

Cons: “Seem that they turned off the air conditioning once we landed in the cabin got on the warm side.”

Cons: “Notify the delay quickly”

Pros: “New plane. Great movie selection. More stylish seats + bathroom. Overall very good and I think Delta has really made an effort to improve it’s service. It’s noticeable.”

Cons: “Plane felt very dry compared to others. The electrical plug outlet jams right at around your knee level. Bread was cold and rock hard (seriously, can we not come up with a good solution for this?).”

Pros: “The closeness of the airport in proximity to my house as well as the ease of finding your gate and boarding.”

Cons: “There were so many passengers and such a small plane. There was NO leg room and the lady in front of me wanted to recline her seat, when I’m already claustrophobic to begin with. It was hot and the air above our head was barely working. There was one flight attendant who was blatantly rude to an elderly lady about her bags under the seat before the flight took off. To make this all worse, I had to suffer through all of this discomfort for over an hour for a 25 minute flight.”

Pros: “When I finally got off the plane”

Cons: “Everything. No instructions, no pens or pencils, ignorant staff. Got to Cancun and waited 2 hours with no directions to just go they immagration. The forms were in Spanish and the staff could not translate. I’ll never fly Delta again.”

Cons: “This was my worst EVER airline experience. It was delayed 27 hours and the snow was not the only problem. When we finally got on board a plane we sat on the runway for over two hours – then they FORGOT to load the luggage!!!”

Pros: “Cabin crew were very good. Very pleasant.”

Cons: “Unpacking wet clothes from one of my bags. It must have been left out in the rain for some time. I filed a separate complaint with Delta.”

Cons: “Booked ticket through venture card points. This meant that the email address and phone number to contact us in the event of changes was mediocre information. I was informed from Tripit that the flight was delayed, not by Delta. Reservation personnel took logical course of action to find new flight for connection that we could make because of delayed initial flight. I would recommend that they first see if there is an earlier initial flight that the customer could make, then look at finding later connecting flights. We found out about delay 8 hours prior, so we had plenty of time to get to the airport earlier. Total delay required me to take additional day off of work.”

Pros: “Long haul business class seat.”

Cons: “Wheelchair service. Poor services at China airport. Connection flight is very small and seats are poor! They made pay to use the lounge at NY airport although my ticket is business class !!”

Pros: “Smooth flight in time. Didn’t realize would have to go thru another TSA security check point. Otherwise smooth flight, great communication from the captain.”

Cons: “Cramped seats and the food wasn’t that great. Plus final meal was served late which lead to quick eating and feeling rushed.”

Cons: “Enhanced security procedures are onerous and caused the flight to be delayed 20+ minutes. Too many TSA staff at PLN doing too many things horribly inefficiently. Extra precautions (testing a Ziploc bag of cookies and several chocolate bars for explosive materials) did not make me feel safer or less inconvenienced by the theatrics of security.”

Cons: “We were arbitrarily re-seated due to equipment changes, back and forth and lost our original seat selection even though we wound up on a plane with the original configuration. An international call wait of 1.5 hours was required to just get us back into the economy plus section that we had originally paid for, Amsterdam check-in was chaotic. In-plane staff was not at all helpful with our desire to get seats on the outside rows of our section.”

Pros: “The staff tried their best to help out with the situation. They passed out waters and apologized. I always love the Delta entertainment (so many great selections)!”

Cons: “Stuck in the plane without AC for an hour! We were stuck behind 14 other planes in line to take off and I understand delays happen but the AC wasn’t working for some reason and it was extremely hot. The passengers were all super uncomfortable. I wish if they knew we were going to be delayed that they would let us just wait at the gate vs. suffer in the sauna plane.”

Cons: “Quality and comfort of seats. Quality of food. The TV screen was from the 80s.”

Cons: “Flight was delayed for very 4 hrs sat in plane for 2.5 of those. Flight was delayed dye to strike in Barcelona. But replacement plane had fueling problems delaying the flight another 2 hours”

Pros: “Plane was very clean and flight attendants were helpful and friendly.”

Cons: “Delta’s domestic terminal at JFK is far too crowded, even at 8AM.”

Pros: “Flight departed on time, arrived early! Boarding was smooth and effortless. I absolutely don’t mind paying a little extra to fly on Delta vs the “low cost” carriers. Thanks Delta!”

Cons: “Most everything was excellent, however my 2 year old daughter’s in seat entertainment screen wasn’t working. It was a full flight and there was no option to change seats. I brought it to the flight attendants attention however she wasn’t able to reset it. A 7-hour flight from NY to Zurich travelling with small children without the movies was not as pleasant as it could have been.”

Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it.”

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite.”

In their boarding area there were minimal phone chargers. The plane was small and no leg room and a rigid uncomfortable seat. Also the flight was at night and they kept the cabin lights on. So to insure the bottom line you overbook then bump people at your leisure? This little game effects many lives above and beyond just the passengers. I don’t plan on booking with United ever again. Why would I? There are many other options that take customer service more seriously. I would love to speak to someone higher up in this organization. But, im sure that will never happen.”
